My Journey

My goal was simple: take 10,000 steps every day. Why? Because people who hit that 10k mark are healthier overall. I tracked my steps for a week and found out I averaged 5,000 steps per day. I set my goal at 6,000 and added 1,000 per week from there. I walked on my lunch break, paced on conference calls, and walked in circles around the living room at 11:30pm some nights, but within a month, I was regularly hitting my goal!

I lost a little weight. My blood sugar stabilized. My labs started looking better and better. Plus, it motivated me to make some other changes to my routine, like drinking more water, starting my day with a green smoothie, and taking my supplements more regularly. Overall, I am healthier and happier than I have ever been.

And it all started with steps.
